Words fail me – what a great party!
We still have one guest here (leaves tomorrow) and the house is sadly quiet. We took our Bulgarian and Serbian friends to Edinburgh yesterday for dinner in The Secret Garden at the Witchery-by-the-Castle and drove home later. I am glad there are no more parties to arrange for a while. The Castle and Ballroom are all over Serbian social media as one of our friends has a very popular TV show in that part of the world and was getting 10000+ likes on her posts throughout the evening.
You are AMAZING for making it such a wonderful event!

Just a word to thank you once again for all your help on Saturday. Everything went exceptionally well and we know that it needs a lot of work behind the scenes for that to happen.
We have had nothing but good words from our guests about the Castle and the pipers especially enjoyed the thrill of playing in the Ballroom.

Feet now firmly back under my desk after a frantic couple of days and it’s time to deliver a sincere “Thank You” for an exceptional service last Wednesday.
Naturally , the intention had been to be out of your hair and focussing everything at the Whim for the day. Your solution, as the heavens opened, to use the library, instead, was exceptional. The party appreciated this incredibly and their day, already wonderful, was made perfect
I have nothing but admiration for the well-oiled machine you all have at the Castle. It is a sparkling gem in an area already rich in offering. We will continue to promote it hard.
Because of the rush to get everything ready, I didn’t take photos, but as soon as Matt and Keomi’s family get some back to us, we’ll put a spread on Facebook, brim-full of accolades for the splendid offering you have at the Castle.

My husband and I are so delighted we chose Blair Castle as our wedding venue! This spectacular Scottish castle with it beautiful rooms and grounds makes it one of the most breathtaking venues and its looks are matched by excellent service and warm hospitality. From the moment we stepped into Blair Castle, turning up without an appointment while searching for a venue, we were greeted by welcoming staff who went out of their way to show us around despite it being a Sunday in November and no events staff working that particular day. We were shown into the ballroom and were immediately in love with the room, this along with a further chat with the wedding coordinator gave us the confidence to book Blair Castle for our special day. I am so very glad we did!
In the few months leading up to our wedding we were introduced to Blair Castle’s new wedding coordinator Jackie Stones. Jackie’s friendly and organised approach gave us the comfort that our wedding plans were in very capable hands. This proved true in the few days before our wedding and the special day itself. Jackie contacted and dealt with most of our suppliers from coordinating the florist, piper, cake, caterers and drinks suppliers to creating our order of service, menus, table plans and name settings. On the day itself Jackie was there from 10 am way before our wedding started; she greeted guests, took care of our suppliers, ensured everything when to plan and oversaw the entire day. She even stayed to 1 am when the last guest left! We found Jackie and the Blair Castle team to be professional, dedicated and warm, they truly couldn’t do enough to ensure we had the best experience.
Blair Castle use one catering company for all their events and although initially we were dubious about not having a choice I can’t recommend them highly enough. This was the best food we have ever experienced at any wedding, as was the service. The catering staff were extremely professional serving and clearing up dishes unobtrusively, pouring wine before glasses ran empty and were extremely attentive. There were ample staff and no one was left waiting for anything. Many of our guests have commented on the catering which adds to our conviction and delight that we chose the right venue.
I cannot thank the Jackie and the Blair Castle team enough for the most wonderful day, we will cherish our photographs and memories for years to come.

We are now just back from our gorgeous honeymoon, a road trip to see the Autumn Fall Colours around New England – it was absolutely breath taking…
Our wedding day was amazing and we are still on a complete high. Everything ran so beautifully and professionally, thank you so much to you and your team.
We picked up all our bits and pieces the next day and it was all neat and ready for us. Hope you enjoyed some cakes, we left you a box to share.
We very much hope to visit the Castle again sometime during the next year to have a really good look around, without any folders!!! So, may see you again at some point. ☺

What a fantastic day we had on Saturday and in large part this was because of you and your team. Glen and Frankie had a wonderful wedding day and have gone on their honeymoon taking some great memories with them.
Before they left we agreed that I would drop you a line on my and their behalf to thank you very much for all that you did to ensure that this was a great success. On the run up to the day you have been pivotal to the event organisation, linking with the suppliers and making sure that timings and details were as we wanted. The support and advice you gave us has been invaluable.
On the day itself there always seemed to be someone on hand to help whenever we needed – mostly you personally. Everyone from Blair was calm and so accommodating, with a warm and welcoming attitude. The day seemed effortless for the bridal party and tremendously enjoyable for all of us. We have received nothing but glowing comments from our guests on the wedding organisation and venue.
We cannot thank you enough.
