As the first private home in Scotland to open to the public in 1936, we have a wealth of experience welcoming individuals and larger groups through our doors. Whether the group would prefer to explore the castle at their own pace, receive an introduction on arrival or take a fully guided tour, we have a range of options available to suit most requirement as follows:
Guided tours are available at no extra cost for groups of 12 or more. Advanced bookings may receive a dedicated guide, however it is unlikely we provide a guide for bookings at short notice. Guided tours last about 50 minutes to an hour or can be tailored to suit a different timeframe. We recommend you allocate at least 90 minutes for a visit to Blair Castle and Gardens to allow guests to experience what is on offer here.
